What is the Loadra portal?
The Loadra portal is a web application where shippers and carriers manage their freight with Loadra directly instead of by phone and email. Shippers use it to request quotes, book loads, track shipments, exchange documents, and view invoices. Carriers use it to view available and assigned loads, submit bids, review pickup and payment details, and upload documents. Most freight brokerages of Loadra's size do not offer one.
What can shippers do in the Loadra portal?
Shippers can request a quote, accept a quote to create a shipment, track shipment status and location, upload and download bills of lading and proof of delivery, view invoices, and see all past and active shipments in one dashboard. Shippers register at loadralogistics.com/portal/register/shipper.
What can carriers do in the Loadra portal?
Carriers can view available loads, review pickup and delivery details and payment terms before committing, submit bids, upload their carrier packet and required documents, and manage assigned loads and status updates. Carriers register at loadralogistics.com/portal/register/carrier.
Does the Loadra portal cost anything?
No. Portal access is free for both shippers and carriers. There is no subscription, no account fee, and no minimum volume requirement.
Do I need an account to get a quote?
No. Shippers can request a quote without registering. An account is required to accept a quote, book a load, and track shipments.

What types of freight does Loadra handle?
Loadra arranges full truckload freight across dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, heavy haul and oversize, and expedited equipment.
What lanes does Loadra cover?
Loadra covers freight originating in or moving through Texas, with nationwide coverage across the lower 48 states through its carrier network. Loadra's initial focus is Texas and Texas-connected lanes for small and mid-sized shippers, including manufacturers, building material suppliers, machinery distributors, wholesalers, food companies, and importers and exporters.
How does Loadra handle shipment tracking?
Loadra requires GPS tracking on every load from pickup through delivery and posts status updates to the shipper's portal dashboard. Shippers do not need to call for check calls. If a delay or route deviation occurs, Loadra notifies the shipper directly.
Is there a minimum volume or contract required?
No. Loadra does not require retainers, minimum volume commitments, or long-term contracts. Shippers can use Loadra for a single load, for overflow capacity when a primary carrier falls through, or for recurring dedicated lanes.
Can Loadra serve as a backup or overflow broker?
Yes. Many shippers add Loadra to a backup or secondary carrier list rather than moving primary freight immediately. This is a common way to begin a broker relationship and lets a shipper evaluate Loadra on real loads without disrupting existing capacity.

How do I register as a carrier with Loadra?
Carriers register at loadralogistics.com/portal/register/carrier. Loadra independently verifies every carrier's operating authority, safety record, and insurance through FMCSA records and third-party vetting before assigning any load. Loadra does not accept documents as proof of authority without independent verification.
How does Loadra vet carriers?
Loadra verifies each carrier's MC and USDOT numbers directly against FMCSA records rather than relying on documents submitted by the carrier. Loadra checks operating authority status and age, safety and inspection history, insurance filings, and banking instructions before dispatching a load. This process exists to prevent carrier identity theft and double brokering.
How can a carrier verify Loadra before hauling a load?
Search MC-1813238 or USDOT 4561700 on FMCSA SAFER to confirm active broker authority, and on the FMCSA Licensing and Insurance system to confirm the $75,000 BMC-84 surety bond is on file. Loadra encourages carriers to verify every broker independently before accepting a load, including Loadra.
